Lately I've run out of my Xyrem(GHB) source so Im looking for something that could increase my sociability.
Klonopin takes care of my social phobia/anxiety but doesnt make me PRO-SOCIAL (like GHB did).So I've started Effexor 75mg - and do you think it might work pro-socially? What were your experiences with Effexor (venlafaxine) and social anxiety and pro-sociability.
I appreciate your responses.

In reply to Effexor SR 75mg - can it increase sociability?, posted by btnd on July 31, 2004, at 10:39:18
Effexor sure did a better job at my social functioning than did the SSRI's, with the exception of Zoloft.
Zoloft has some appreciable dopaminergic function and stood out above other SSRI's in terms of social function.
But to answer your question, Effexor did have a positive effect on social functioning.
