Dopamine Enhancers (Dopa Poppers)

Posted by MindReseacher on September 13, 2004, at 19:57:59

Hi, a few days back some of us were posting on what supplement or Dopamine Precursors. I know there is a bunch of Drug related ones, but focusing on some more natural precursors because someone like me who is taking moderate-High doses of Adderall, olnly after 1 week, i already feel a 50 percent decrease in effect.
So, basically i began reaserching some tolerance lowering info., and Dopamine Producers, enaners.

On thing i was doing wrong, and antoehr may be still. I was Taking Rmeron for sleep. I did read Remeron does Block some dopamine to an extend, and lasts into the next day. SO i stopped taking it.
Another Nautral supplement called Rodiola Rosia , has numerous properties, but one may be actual reducing dopamine. This i have to read more about.

I came across a Product which really looks promising, Its a product by the company Pinnicle, called Dopa Poppers. It is suppose to be for the release of Human Grown Hormone, but the main ingreadient is Mucuna Prirrens (20% L- Dopa) , which im not sure ho wtrue that it. Although i research every thing i take, soo i read one artile from an expert that Mucuna Prurriens, or actually the L-dapa 20% works better than the actual drug. It may be but dont for get nothing was

I also Take L-tyrose, but i was taking it alone. More maximum abosobability, Taking it with viatmin c and B help converts it more into dopamine.

L-Theanine is another tricky substance. It is mainly used fo relaxation, and is gaba energic, altough some research cleaims it increaes dopamine. I dont knoww so sure but i will try and get the exact artiles.

CDP-Choline is also a dopamie increaser. 1000mg a day , has no side effects, enhances visual clarity.

Phosphytidlserine, which is used as a congitive enhancer, shows a possible likelyhod as a dopamine renander.

B-Complex Vitamins , I believe B-6 and B-12 help the convertioin and making of Dopamine, moresoe is taken with other nutritens to hel pconvert the other supplements.

SAMAe- An antidepressant sold Overseas, and sold Via OTC in USA, but very expensive ALso is a dopamine increaser, but to what extennt, or pathway is yet to be known. I also believe Same would have more dopamine properties than serotonin because there is no intereactions iv seen with SSRI's but people with biPolar disorder there could be. So i guess think about it.

To be brief, and for all the amphetamine , adderall, dexedrine , or Ritalin users, Its getting very discouraging to me, that , i took about 8-12 days off adderall. I beleive it was more than enought. I started back up, the first 2 day swere great, it seems all my tolerance came back. So this was last tuesday. Now i stayed up friday night and didnt sleep alot of saturday, but i dont drink or drug, so i was up just doing alot of various things and didnt feeel like sleeping. Well for some reason I slept last night from 5am, to 5-pm, i woke up ok, took my adderall. Well, i had to take another dose at 8pm, because im like falling sleep.!! And now its 1 hr later and im still falling asleep!! I hope this is just like temporary because i didnt sleep right all weekend, because im barely even able to type!

Ill post tommorrow!
