I am wondering if anyone has gained weight on Wellbutrin? I know it's possible to maybe lose a couple of pounds, but I just read that it can make you gain also. I listen to all of you as much as I listen to the doc., you're very helpful to me. -L

I gained 10 pounds of muscle if that helps, with no extra bodyfat. :) I don't think it was the wellbutrin though. I consciously tried to increase my calories while switching up my workout program. If anything I'd say it makes me less hungry than more so, while speeding up my metabolism. I think it has a positive effect on body composition. Good luck.

Yeah. I gained weight on Wellbutrin and nobody believes me still. (Docs that is). I really think for me though it is because anything that causes anxiety for me sends me right to the fridge. Doesn't kill my appetite at all.

Try a lower dose. Less panic into hunger. The weaker generic got rid of the panic. I use to get one every day at around lunch. I was on 300 mg WB sr, now I take 400 mg generic. I'm not sure the panic will cause wight gain, because I think the med increses motabilizm, you sweat off the energy.
