AMITRIPTYLINE- SUCCESS STORIES PLEASE!!!!

Posted by ace on October 30, 2004, at 0:10:17

Well I'm now on Elavil, so please guys give me some success stories. I am using it for OCD and depression. It has showed effectiveness (obviously more for depression) for both pathologies.

Tell me your success stories, dose range and onset of effect.

Ace can feel a bit of anhedonia creeping in, so do the world a favour and put a smile on Ace's cheeky face!

Ace
Nardil- 60mg
Zyprexa- 2.5mg
Xanax- 2mg
Amitriptyline- 75mg

Hi Ace,

I like Amitrip, I take 100mg of Ami + 75mg of Effexor. For me Ami fixes my digestive problems, is anxiolytic & a great sedative. I don't know about combining it with Zyprexa, Ami & Zyprexa would be competing for a lot of the same receptors, ie: H1, M1, A1, 5-HT2A. If Ami blocks some of these it would allow Zyprexa to block more of D1, D2, D4 & therfore be a bit like adding more Zyprexa.

Cheers,
Paul.
