depression returning

Hi-Just wondering-what are your first symptoms of depression returning? I am on 20 mg Celexa and 50 mg. trazodone at night and have been for a while. My doctor had me try some samples of lexapro for 2 weeks and I think symptoms are returning. I am back on Celexa and have started taking 1 1/2 pills and 1 1/2 pills of Trazodone-I am not sleeping, have mood swings, etc. I have an appointment in 2 days but was just wondering what others notice as your first symptoms of returning depression?

My depression is coupled with OCD, so I usually notice that I'll start getting obsessive thoughts and feel a little down. I woke up this past Sunday and didn't want to get out of bed and I KNEW that was a bad sign. Since then, things have gotten a little worse and I feel like I'm drowning in that pit of despair all over again. I'm taking 60mg Celexa and 300mg Wellbutrin, which has worked just fine for me for years. I just upped the Celexa from 40mg a couple days ago, so I'm hoping that will help soon.

I hope you can catch yourself before its too late.

Mine did to on switching!

When I went from celexa to lexapro, after about 6 months of stabilization on celexa stand-alone therapy, withing 1 week I was experiencing a resurfacing of panic attaks, increased anxiety, and increased feelings of derealization; it felt like I was coming up on acid. Woah, that ain't what you want with panic/social anxiety disorders. I also found myself becoming more depressed. I'd get back on the Celexa girl, I think lexapro may turn out to be a really bunk anti-depressant in a few more years. Of course that's just my opinion, and some people have done great on the lexapro.

I wish you luck in your decision.
