In a rush this morning to pack. (i am leaving at 2pm est time today) i think i forgot to take my prozac 20mg---is this going to be okay? i have not missed a dose before...help

When I was on Prozac I could easily miss several days without a problem.

I'm not an expert, but my understanding is that Prozac has an extremely long half-life, so missing a dose should not cause you any physical or emotional discomfort (unlike Effexor).
Is this your trip to see your father? If so, I hope you have a nice visit and enjoy the time you will spend with your dad.

Prozac has such a long half-life that, when my pdoc oK'd lessening the dose, he simlpy had me take it every OTHER day. Again with the caveat that this is just my experience not a professional opinion....and I could miss a dose two days in a row before even feeling any withdrawal effects.

Yes I am going to see my dad. I am very excited. He has been in and out of the hospital again so I am looking foward to spending time with him. Thank you for remembering me!!!
