anyone know if you can dissolve a klonopin tablet under the tongue and still get a therapeutic response?

You can't get a worse response than if you just swallowed it, really, because whatever does not get absorbed sublingually will be swallowed anyway. I don't know how much might be absorbed across the skin of the oral mucosa, but I suppose it could be a substantial amount. There are sublingual Xanax tablets, for example, so I'd presume that sublingual uptake would be a class effect.

A pdoc once told me that I could take klonopin under the tongue if I needed it to act more quickly.
