I tried Lamictal last night...took 50mg at 8.40pm
all night I was waking up with really bad acid reflux...milk and gaviscon didn't help....my stomach felt at a pH of 1 !!!!
has anyone had this with Lamictal?
could it be avoided by taking it in the morning...
suggestions please!!!

Boy did I ever. My pdoc told me to talk with my GP who gave me Lansoprazole (PrevAcid brand name in Canada).
It really helps but sometimes I still get a bit of heartburn but nothing like it was before.

i always have terrible heartburn/reflux... i never thought that maybe it's worse with lamictal. i take 2-3 pepcid completes a day (sometimes more) when 1 used to do it.
sometimes it helps to sleep propped up, so stuff can't reflux.
good luck. i know how much it hurts. :(
