Yes, Wellbutrin makes me very anxious and I am tense person anyway. I take 300mg, and that still seems to make me irritable. What you are experiencing is normal for some people, maybe you should contact you doctor for advice. -L

> KathiWhen I first upped my dose from 300mg to 450mg of Wellbutrin SR I could definitely tell a difference. I was much more hyper, I'd get the odd heart palpitation, and found I was a little too irritable. The bad side effects went away within a few days though as my body got used to the higher dose. After a week or so I didn't experience any side effects so with you I'm guessing they won't be permanent.

Yes, I've felt similarly at 400 mg. I did like the fewer side effects of Wellbutrin but, and I hate to sound like a broken record because I've already posted this, I had a series of seizures in July and the Wellbutrin was blamed. That doesn't mean it was Absolutely the Wellbutrin but I did stop and have had no more seizures. Just an FYI. It sure is helpful to avoid weight gain! I've gained a good ten pounds since switching to Lexapro. Good luck.
