I don't know if I am much help. My pdoc has diagnosed me forever with GAD, but then said recently that I might have some form of Bi-Polar. Not the mania kind, but some form. She said had two meds to treat me, Lamictal for depression or Seroquel for anxiety. I choose Lamictal and it feels like it has already helped lift some depression after three days. I still feel anxiety, even though I take Klonopin 3mg per day, but pdoc said she would add Seroquel after a month if the anxiety was still bothering me. What's your story, if you don't mind me asking?

There's that lamictal again. Didn't someone just recently say it didn't affect depression? Fondly, Phillipa

Phillipa, lamictal is actually very good for depression. Some people use it as mono-therapy. They say if you are bipolar and lean towards depression to use lamictal.

Hey!!!

50mg in the morning and 100mg at night...it has a big sedative effect! It's a cool drug...I am going to go higher on the dose soon....It has a short half-life but some clinical studies indicate that one dose at bedtime is fine...

Good luck!!

Ace!
