I think that since I am on mirtazapine along with Effexor XR my taste has changed to something strange like metal?! Anyone having the same experience?

Have been on Remeron for about 16 days (first ten at 15 mg and since then at 30 mg). I have not noticed such a change. Initially (at 15mg) Remeron was very sedating. Since then have noticed a slight increase in appetritite (had none before), but no difference in taste.
Possibly combo with Effexor?

I take both. No probs with my tasters. I eat everything not nailed down. Have gained around 13 pounds on this combo. Been on them for approx 2 months. Added Lithium to the mix about a week ago.
