Afraid of cutting back Celexa

Posted by Deneb on July 4, 2005, at 22:38:31

I cut back my Celexa from 50mg to 40mg for two days and I'm afraid of continuing. I think I really have slowly changed for the better. I don't know why or what did it, but I know that I'm not as bad off as I was at first.

Now I'm not constantly thinking about suicide everyday. I also just realized that I think my social anxiety is gone. I don't know whether or not it was the Celexa or not, but I'm a little afraid of going back to where I was. Maybe I should just got back to 50mg and let things be.

Opinions?

Try the lower dose and see how you feel. Fondly, Phillipa

I would go back to the 50mg. It's not a high dose. When I took Celexa, I took 60 mg and some people take more than that. If things are going well, why change?
