Hi...I have been on both at the same time, with great results. It will help you with sleep, anxiety..some of the worst things that come with depression. You may eventually have to taper up to a higher dose of either or both meds, but it sounds like you are in good hands.Best wishes,
Jay

Hi BigScreen,
Do you have a diagnosis?
>i just started the effexor 37.5 mg and it seems im sleepy but cant sleep
That's a common side effect.
Kind regards

i was reading on the risperdal that it can make you have muscleaches, my doctor told me if i get a stiffness in my neck to contact him. i am kind of scared to take the risperdal because of the bad side effects but i need to because i hear bad voices. he started me on a very low dose of 1mg. but i will take it. i just want to get some more advice on these two meds. i was taking zoloft and when my dosage was increased to 100mg it made things worse. also i am a diabetic
