Question about brain shivvers

Does anyone know if an eeg can pick up a brain shivver? (brain shocks) ..

seems to be when i think about certain things or look at certain things i am getting them.. i want an eeg done but my doctor reckons it wont pick anything like that up? (think hes being an *rse!!)

(not on no meds med free for 12 mnths..)
