Hi Dears,
I am on 200mg of sertraline, but the old ABPI Data compendium scares me. It says doses of 150mg and above should not be used for more than four weeks. I was on 100mg for the past eight months, but good effects seem to vanish, so had to double the dosage. I feel pretty fine now, but what happens if I continue this regimen? What's the maximum dosage of this drug and how long I can be on it?
Anyone with experience? Please help me.

Many, many people have been taking 200mg per day for over a decade without dangerous adverse events. Some go even higher. I would not worry about it. What you may find is an increase in side effects.

Hi.
When Zoloft/Lustral was new, there wasn't much experience with the long term use of >150mg......... that was years ago. Many people take 200mg for years.
