Parnate feels like amphetamines!

Posted by tygereyes on October 12, 2005, at 20:23:09

Day two.

I feel like I've been using speed.

In the afternoon, my mood peaked and I became euphoric. Later this afternoon, I crashed. Hard. Exhausted. But I can't get over how much this med "feels like" speed - even the alternating warm/cold bodily sensations and the strange cotton-like feeling in the back of my throat.

Has anyone else experienced this? Does it go away?

As I mentioned I get the exhaustion as well. But I don't get speedy on it at all. I would give it a few weeks and increase really slowly. If you can no longer tolerate the side effects, then perhaps Nardil would be a better choice for you.

I'm sorry you are having these problems. Parnate does increase your body temperature though. I sweat a lot on it.

Keep pushing forward. You are only on day 2.

Good luck to you. :-)
