I'm not noticing any side effects from the Wellbutrin, but I've been taking Klonopin to help with anxiety and I think it's making me depressed!
I noticed I got depressed when I took Xanax and Klonopin is doing the same thing.
I guess I will have to try Buspar to take the edge off Wellbutrin. Unless anyone has any other suggestions.
Ugh! I need to get out of this funk!

Trish,
Please call your doctor. Klonopin will give you a very quick effect(1-4hours). I prefer the Buspar because it does have anxiolytic and ant-depressant effects and involves no dependency issues. Many docs feel that once the gaba receptor is primed after taking a benzo, you stand a decreased chance for it working for you.
I don't understand why you won't call your doctor. If you don't, please stay on the Klonopin as a back-up if you decde to try Buspar. I've never experienced a manic episode, but I imagine this is something you want to avoid at all costs. Please be careful.

hey! Personally, I think the BuSpar+benzo combo is nice. Its apparently not common--for some reason, docs seem to do 1 or the other, but not both. I found keeping the BuSpar at or below 30mgs/day, and keeping the Klonopin at or below say, 2mgs day, with an antidepressant, helped with depression and anxiety. Your mileage may vary, but I wanted to present another option--BuSpar and benzos don't *have* to be mutually exclusive.

agreed- I take 1 mg Klonopin and 30 mg Buspar daily, and it works well.
