Hi I'm considering switching pdocs so I can try abilify - (not available in Canada), I'm taking it allegedly:~) for schizoaffective disorder. My Pdoc describes my condition like a 'soup' with depression anxiety and guilt induced psychosis, (I'm told a very punitive super ego),
Just wanted an idea of what peoples experiences with abilify re: anxiety are, I know it's a common side effect for many, but have read that it helps anxiety in some. For me seroquel gave me horrific psychosis, the other atypicals just turn me into a drone. Thanks for the feedback.

Hi there
This is off thread so excuse me, but Seroquel gave you horrific psychosis?? Do you wanna talk about that?
Like you, I've taken my fair share of benzos and have a punitive superego.

Heard it was stimulating. But start at 2.5mg is what most do and see how that works. Fondly,Phillipa
