Posted by chess on February 16, 2006, at 14:00:40

i'm on 150mg anafranil for OCD, GAD, Panic D/O

i find that my hands and fingers tremble when i do things with my hands
don't know if it's my anxiety or the anafranil
i know anafranil is working because of the dry mouth i get

how did anyone else do with anafranil?
did it help?
any side-effects?

It didn't help because it was too sedating for me. But it did make my hands tremble. I tried taking inderal with it for a while which stopped the tremble.

I have a friend that takes anafranil and he has the trembling too. It doesn't bother him though. He's greatful to not be obbsessing like he was. Fondly, Phillipa

Hi :)

Its most likely a side effect of Anafranil. many people get it.

I am now on Anafranil (along with other drugs) for about 4 month or so, and it really takes a long time to work. I am really getting better month by month.... My social anxiety got much much better. But only recently I noticed that I am almost anxiety free by now. I take it for depression with social anxiety components

Anyway. Ist a very effective drug, but many people cant stand its side effects. But for some, it doesnt have much at all. like me.

It was good for a while, but the longer I took it I became more zombie like.

I stopped it on my own. I told my doctor that I didn't really feel awake till much past noon.

He told me to take it the morning.. Yeah, like thats going to happen.

Take care.
