Just thought I'd report on my results so far with Cymbalta.
After coming off Seroxat for a month and feeling worse than ever before, I decided to give 60mg of Cymbalta a try.
As usual I had the awful anxiety/apathy, suicidal ideations and had to take a Zyprexa for that. It's now a week later after taking the zyprexa and the affects of the drug usually last 7 days so I'm sort of prepared for the anxiety to come back again next week.
I feel pretty flat today but that maybe because I got very drunk last night.
I have a feeling that the cymbalta is not going to fare much better than the Seroxat but I'll give it at least three weeks in the hope of getting some improvement. I can't (hopefully) feel as bad as I did off drugs completely, I felt like I was descending into hell again.

Yeah, I hear ya. Frustrating isn't it? I'm going through the same situation with prozac. Up until last fall I was on prozac for many years, but it is not feeling at all like it used to. My story sounds just like yours, except the prozac is giving me morning terrors and anxiety too, which is forcing me against will to step up the zyprexa.

Denise,
I have to agree with Phillipa. Why start on such a high dose? It may take a few weeks for the unpleaseant side effects to dissipate and for the drug to work.
