Anyone on super low-dose Risperdal? Is it a good antimanic that way? Do you still experience sedation?

Havn't seen you in a while :) To answer your question, I'm not sure. I know that 0.5 was fairly strong for me.

I know!!! Nice to see you too. I struggled with the manic crazies for the entire last year and a half. I was hospitalized in March, but now things are much better; I am finally going back to school in a month or by the fall.
.5mg is strong for me too. 2mg really helped me while I was manic, but now I am on Lamictal; I am phasing out of the acute phase of illness I hope.

Why not both? I might want to try .25mg for a while and just go up to .5mg if I had to. Do you need acute antimanic action *now* or is this more of a maintenance thing?
