Is it AT bedtime or a little before? I took it and stayed awake about 1/2 hour and it took forever for me to fall asleep. That usually isn't the case, just wondering. Thanks.

I take mine about 30 minutes before bedtime. This seems to work best for me. It does take awhile to fall asleep if you take it at bedtime.

A little before sounds like a possibility -- can't hurt. Just be prepared to get to bed when you do start feeling sluggish, in case you have to climb stairs or something. You may have become more accustomed to the sleep-inducing effects, that's all.

I used to take it at 10pm, less than an hour before I went to sleep. Remeron should be taken a while before you go to bed, so that it can help you to fall asleep.
