Desipramine + Lamictal

Has anyone ever heard of this combo?
My pdoc has asked me to try it because it seems like the lamictal(300mg p/d) has pooped out on me after about two years.
I dont know enough about the acting agents to know if these would be complimentary or not.

Id be curious for any feedback.

One a TCA the other a mood stabalizer that's all I know sorry. Love Phillipa
