I got a job interview with a National Director
of a company today. National Director!
So what did I do before the interview ?I take normally 15 Nardil in morning and 1mg of Xanax.
This TimeI take 30mg Nardil 2mg Xanax and 2 cups of cofee . Oh my god . I thougth I was talking to and old friend . I forgot he was the most important person of the company in the country . I just start to talk very calm , laughing if necessarry , speaking very well in english when he asked me to. So basically I was another person. I end up the interview so happy that I dont care If I am elected for the job. I know I did my best , and my real Tep was there.
I have a certain feeling that something stimulant may help me to feel better than ever. Some extra drug. I would like to add some drug like this to the combo , before taking more Nardil. Any Idea?
an its rare , no sexual desire has return by the way . I have thougth Xanax has to do with this too . Still my memory is very bad and have very bad cognitional skills.

I have been a similar situaiton... when i was interviewing for med schools (i live in canada), i took wellbutrin and lexapro together.. these drugs sent hypomanic.. i was so social, and believe i came across as very intelligent and witty... im not sayin u were hypomanic or anything, i dont know if you were..but the moral of my little story is that i dont think its good to play with drugs like this, it can lead to dependence... mabye its just that the higher dose of nardil helped u more, i understand 15 is not much... or mabye ur right, a stimulant may turn the trick.. but i dont think u should go through life readjusting ur meds on a temperorary basis to fit the situation.. remember, were aiming for stability!

Did you say you got the job. If so, congratulations. My fear with that scenerio would be setting up expectations that I wouldn'tbe able to live up to if I acted so much more social and "together" than I normally was.
That may be my depression being so skeptical but so much of my life has been spent trying to maintain my mood and level of functioning, not just for a day, but on a continuum.

A good therapeutic steady level of medication in your blood is what you need. I have been trying to get you to increase your dose of Nardil for about 4 mos. now. I think this is why you felt better (an increase in Nardil) you need to get your Nardil to a therapeutic dose 60-75 mgs. and stay there. 15,30 or 45 is obviously too low for you. I would definitely shoot for 75mgs. Look at Ace..he takes a larger dose of nardil and does Great!

I had answered this thread with a long post but
I lost it, oh no. So Im gonna make it again not so long.Yes I understand doing this is not something correct . I just do it when I have something important like that situation , I also think, well
they looked at me in that state , but if they hire me , am I gonna be in that state all days?
of course not , so yeah I dont like that.I know I have to reach Nardil. Im juts tryin to
avoid side effects of higher doses and also avoiding buyin more med cause its very expensive to me in this moment. That it why Im thinking in adding other med . I have been on 60 and 75 of Nardil in the past and no change I felt. Just more side effects and then I haad and Hypertensive crisis , that made me stay in 45 once I restarted NArdil.
I guess the 90mg its the only option left. I know Im gonna have to do it . No one knows about MAOIS here , no doctor use them I dont have nobody to consult , to ask , just visiting here is my option. So your opinions are the more precious thing I have regarding the Nardil.Anyway , it feel so good doing those thing just
in some cases. I never have got stability , Always up and down. But what is better stay in this way or like 5 months ago when I was trying to kill myself. Wow those were very difficult months.Nice to hear from all of you !

Tep, i'm thinking maybe the increase in the Zanax is what made you feel so well. If higher dose Nardil gives you too many severe side effects then stay at the lower dose. Zanax is great for anxiety, social phobia and even acts as an antidepressant for some people. But you need higher dose zanax to feel like the "Real Tepi" i recommend you go with higher dose zanax..who gives a damn if you have to take it for the rest of your life. If it makes you feel like yourself, social , etc. then USE IT!! That's what i would MOST DEFINITELY DO!! But then, i've recommended this before and you just don't do it..i don't understand that?? As always i wish you the best and pray for you every day my friend.

I think that's good if you treat a problem and the nardil works for you. In my opinion if "it works" to diminish a problem every drug will lead to dependence. I don't know where you buy the nardil. But be aware that it is possible that there is no more nardil left if there's no more source. Maybe it could be a good idea to have a doc prescribing you the nardil or if not possible to look for a second source. I know nothing about the healthcare system in your country.
