Hello,
just wondering if anyone has had success with lamictal but had also been on depakote and it had worked better or worse, I am on lamictal which has been a life saver but wonder if the anti-anxiety and anti-depressive symptoms of depakote might be a better fit?
many thanks,
Joseph

In reply to lamictal or depakote for depression?, posted by mogger on September 6, 2006, at 1:21:50
I'm currently taking Lamictal and actually can't even tell if it's doing me any good - my pdoc says I'd be worse if I wasn't on it, and also that it can help with depression.
I was on Depakote (tried it two different times) and that was bad ... it was VERY sedating for me and made my depression worse. For what it's worth, a long time ago, I saw it on here referred to as "Depadeath".
This is the end of the thread.
