I've taken Trazodone for sleep for most of the past 12 years. I've found it very effective at doses from 50mg to 150mg. It's great when you take an antidepressant that's somewhat energizing like Parnate or Wellbutrin. I assume that Effexor is similar. Although most people feel groggy in the morning, I was fine after a couple of cups of coffee. Other people are really wiped out all day from it. It is not addictive and you don't develop a tolerance to it. Last, but not least, it's cheap.
