I going to talk to my pdoc this week about adding Wellbutrin to my drug cocktail for some added energy. What's better, the XL or the SR version?

The XL version allows once daily dosing, so I guess it's the better one.

XL works really well for me, and supposedly decreases even farther the chance of seizure-which is WAY overblown.

From what i have read and heard from others XL seems to be the way to go. Although, i have read some older posts/threads where people swear by SR, saying it is less likely to cause anxiety and insomnia. Hmmmm??? Any imput would be very much appreciated.

I think so. I get a lot fewer gastric side-effects on SR, too. Actually, I'm going to try to get immediate release the next time I see my doctor... there are very few extended/sustained/controlled/b*llshit-release meds that have worked well for me.

I take the SR version. It's cheaper and works just as well. When in doubt, I follow the $$.
