In 3 weeks, Wellbutrin XL has caused me to gain 10 pounds, despite actual healthy and lessening intake overall, of diet and all food. It does *zilch* for the sex drive. It happens to be that way with me, and seemed to actually dampen my sex drive further. Got up to 300mg's. Yuk...
I've been on my other meds for a good 8-9 months, so it is none of them.
IMHO,
Jay

Ya, that is what I thought too Phillipa. I've done a search on the net and have come up with quite a few examples of people gaining weight on this drug. I don't know why...it just may be my/others metabolism or something like that.

I have a theory that it raises anxiety and makes you eat. I had a problem where every lunch time, right before lunch I would sweat like crazy, get real anxious, panic and have to eat. All this would go away once I get food in my stomack. I have not had that problem since increasing the zyprexa back to 10 mg.
