Hi Everyone, I was somewhat active on the board back in 2001, had some work and personal setbacks and just plain got away from the board. I have been lurking for months and decided to jump back in. I really decided to jump in when I saw Phillipa's note wondering if she should leave. Phillipa, I and many other people appreciate your care and knowledge. Please don't go.
So real quick about me: Diagnosis: Uni-polar depression and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Current meds: Wellbutrin 300mg, Zoloft 200mg, Ambien CR 12.5mg and Xyrem 6grams divided in 2 doses nightly (just started 2 weeks ago). Past meds: I do not have enough time to list them. :-)

Hi, Club Soda.
There's a policy, new since 2001, that when you change your name you announce it on the Admin board. You don't have to say what your old posting name was, only to say that you used to post under a different name.

I just know that this board helped me alot way back when and I really felt badly that you were thinking of leaving. I've been lurking forever it seems and when reading a thread if I saw your name I would always jump to it and read it.

I've only been on the Xyrem for two weeks now and I have had a couple of days where the brain fog seemed alot better. It's true when it says that you should take it while you are in bed because it works quick. I went up 1gram last week and it made me a little nauseous and I was afraid to lay down because I sort of felt like throwing up so I sat on the couch. And I was out like a light in no time. I sort of came to and went to bed.
I thought having to take another dose 2.5 - 4 hours later was going to be a pain, but I find myself waking up around that time anyway so I take the 2nd dose and back to la-la land.
