Anti-psychiatry and its influence on my friend

Posted by Squiggles on June 24, 2007, at 7:52:01

I blame all my friend's problems on the
influence of anti-psychiatry. The serious
personality changes and depression began
when he listened to them and started reducing
the antidepressant. I am pretty sure the doctor
would not approve and the referral to two other
psychiatrists recommended that he raise the drug to the original dose to avoid suicidality.

The next step should have been to discuss other
options, NOT to drop the drugs to 0.

I think the anti-psychiatry group perspective on medication is responsible for many relapses and their consequences.

not my personal business.
