I just picked up this article; these poor animals have suffered just about every kind of torture imagineable-- but hey, like Descartes said before
the Englightenment, animals have no souls, only people are high enough to have been blessed with such a gift.I wouldn't doubt it if they have tried this on other animals too.

The problem is that many of these genes only exist in a small fraction of those affected with schizohprenia.
I wonder if this type of research will ever amount to anything practical.
That would be the day, when it is possable to identify a specific gene that causes a mental illnes, and be able to correct it somehow.
