Works better than taking 0.5mg with foods....at least for me.

I was told by my endo who presciribes synthroid to take in the middle of the night with my valium when I wake after about four hours of sleep as my stomach is empty. Don't think it matters.Love Phillipa

Most drugs are absorbed faster from an empty stomach so you a feel stronger, more immediate immediate effect. The same amount of Klonopin is absorbed overall though, so it would make no difference that way.

it doesn't make a difference with clonazepam for me, but it did with valium.
