Hi everyone, I been on zyprexa for about 10 weeks and the p-doc wants me to stop it by starting to take it every other night but I was wondering if I could just stop taking it or should i wean off of it slowly. If I stop it do you think I will have side effects and if so what type will i have. Suebird

I would taper off the zyperxa as the doctor recommends. You take a risk of having a side effect if you stop it cold turkey even if it has only been 10 weeks. I can't say what side effects you would have because everyone is different. goodluck : )

Yes Phillip I am on the zoloft as well as weaning off of the zyprexa today i'm feeling a little more anxiety today i'm not sure if it from coming off of the zyprexa im taking it every two days can that cause me a little anxiety. Please help Suebird

How high is the dose? Why every two days and not just a smaller dose each day? I'm so sorry you feeling anxious a bad feeling. Can you call your pdoc tomorrow and see if he might consider a little each day? Is the zoloft helping? Love Phillipa
