My psychiatrist just faxed my psychiatric conditions i was dianosed with to my main campus i go on. Well i get more time on tests and everything but i feel stupid being in it. I do have many anxiety disorders, but im not treated for ADHD, and my doctor, its a long story. Im going heads up with out any medication, just help from tudors when i get behind. But so far im ok, i have an exam, and a monologue to memorize in 2 days. Ugh........
Well having mainly Adhd and anxiety caused this to happen, i had to sign up because i would get overwhelmed, then stare at the professor but think of something else... you see what im saying.
I hate, im just jelous because all my people in class are so attentive. Do you think DSS and CBT which i may start soon (CBT) would help?

Lots of time Disability is not granted on first try. So I wish you much success and luck in getting it first time around. A good doc can usually word it correctly at least they used to be able to. Phillipa ps so it is approved first time . Have you heard anything yet?

I'm glad you posted about this and I, too felt the same way while in college. I was in the Disabled Student Services Program and it was very beneficial for me. My pdoc was the key to me getting in all together. The Staff at Berkeley were wonderful in setting up services and my counselor was spectacular. I was able to get extra time on tests, given a verbal explanation regarding directions vs just reading them myself. Extra time in completing homework, tutor and use of the lab during school hours. So if you can get in definitely utilize it. Good Luck!!
