I can't believe it. I get great sleep on seroquel, but I get really hot and easily sweat during the day. It's just not right!
I'm taking a low dose - I even cut it down to 25mg.
Will the sweating go away?

Seroquel has alpha1-blocking actions. Theoretically, this should cut down on sweating. Try raising the dosage to 50 mg instead of lowering it. There's a low dosage ceiling on the sedation, so this might not cause any more daytime sleepiness than the current dose.
If that doesn't work, cut it down to 12.5 mg. I have found it's an effective sedative even at this dose.

Why do meds make you sweat?
Is your body trying to sweat out the toxins (as they say in the gym)?
Is body temperature increased?
Most meds do it. There might be some that don't.
