Temazepam vs lunesta

Here is the deal i have been taking Temazepam and it knocks me out to the point i cant even wake up to take care of my son and i am wondering if lunesta or something else would be better for me out there that wouldnt do that for me i am on Emsam, and have to take something to help me sleep could you guys give me some imput? thank you very very much Julie

some say you eat alot with lunesta is this a true fact also?

Julie I took lunesta 3mg for about two months and that was with valium and didn't eat anymore. For me that is. Phillipa

In Canada, we have zopiclone which is just the mixed isomer version of Lunesta. I think Lunesta just isolated an active isomer and marketed it so that they could have a new patent, since zopiclone would be generic (it is here) Essentially it's the the exact same thing as Lunesta in terms of effects/side effects from what I understand.

If I take it RIGHT before I turn out the light, it doesn't effect my eating or appetite in the least. If I take it an hour before I go to bed, it makes me crave sweet carbs. It might just be a desire to get that gross bitter taste out of my mouth though...

Sure not generic here got a script and it was $85 cash as mediciare won't pay for meds like that only generics so far none and they wouldn't pay for it anyway as they will not pay for any benzos either. Taking it at bedtime sounds like the ticket. Phillipa
