Hi,
Just wondering if anyone on this board has started at a high dose of Lyrica, say started at 300mg or 600mg?

Thought sedation was at 25mg? Then again my source wasn't that good and a long time ago. Phillipa

For me, sedation was proportionate to dose. Higher dose = more sedation. It's not one that has that inverse sedation effect like Remeron. The more you take, the sleepier you feel. For me at least.

> Thanks....DeniseIf lyrica is anything like neurontin, higher doses were better for both anxiety and depression and did not make me tired...however when it came time to sleep the higher dose was conducive to better sleep quality...Try to figure that out!

The general reaction to Lyrica (of course everyone is different) is low dose (Under 300 mgs.) = sedation, higher doses (above 300 to 600mgs = more energy) of course if you go way high like 1200mgs. you may feel sedated...again it just varies from one individual to another.
