Listen, My doctor has be Dexedrine Spansules, but for somereason....when i take it in the morning, i'm irrtible, and the "effect" of focus, does not take effect till the 2nd release of it 3 hours later.It doesnt almost do anything, until about 1pm when i am full "active".
I lay in bed....after i take it, because i'm still incredibly tired. I dont know why...
Maybe i was mistaken...but how does the release mechansim work...? i thought it was immiediate release "half" of 15mg, which is 7.5mg..then 2nd release 3 hours later.And, it's wasteful. I take it, and just feel tired, yet, i do feel some "activation", it doesnt create a "psychostimulant" effect until later in the day. When i'm "fully" awake.
____________________________________________Vyvanse took 1hour to work, then it's wierd the way they made that medication, l-lyrosine+dextroamphetamine. It stayed in my system, but it wasnt active.
Help? is it digestive issues, because i do know, i have some kind of acid reflex, not bad, but once every 3 weeks, i throw this gross PI acid up. Don't think about it...yuk. I take Zantac.
Is there any absorbtion problems, or disorders?
i've looked it up on google, couldnt find "exact" reasons why, all sites say, it takes effect in 30min after taken. It does somewhat active, but it doesnt...create a focused effect, i go back to sleep, and dream "vivid" dreams. And this is dexamphetamine....
Anyone?

I know that acidic foods do affect the absorption of amphetamines, and something like your acid reflux wouldn't effect it since it only occurs every 3 weeks. The antacid can increase the absorption of the dexedrine, but this can cause dangerous serum levels of the medication.
As far as the focus goes I am not sure why it is not helping you more than it is. Dexedrine is straight dextroamphetamine which is a CNS stimulant, and not CNS/Peripheral like Adderall. Maybe spansules are not a good idea since you are not getting what you're looking for. Try immediate release, or talk to your pdoc about trying something different.
I am on 20 mg of Adderall XR. It works very well in allowing me to focus and it lasts for at least 6 hours with my metabolism.
Do you take Dexedrine everyday?

I took adderall for a long time. Worked well, attention (especially) mainly.
Dexedrine Span are 6 hours duration, i take 60mg, but i take 2 in morning, 2 afternoon so it's effect for focus, would stay.
30mg/ half of it releases 15mg....and 3 hours later, i believe it releases the rest, 15mg. But, i dont know how it works.Dexedrine is more doing things, studying, or research. Math especically....but the diffrence between adderall and dexedrine
Levoamphetamine is mixed in Adderall, it doesnt have much effects, more "activing" in the release of norepheneprine, which causes "alertness, viglilence, attention"
Rater...dexamphetamine usually isnt "activating" "Get things done-feeling"
It most targets dopamine, which in it's self, helps with focus. Not a caffine "stimuation"That's all, but something isnt working, it's suppost to activate in 30min, the time it takes with me...2 hours.
That's all, i'll have to talk to doctor.
