I used to get all my scripts filled at K-Mart until I saw a better deal ($12 for 90 days!) at Walgreens. Now my regular K-Mart pharmacist says she can do $15 for 90 days if I transfer back and I get a $10 gift card. Do you think Mylan generics (K-Mart) are as good as Greenstone (Walgreens)?

I don't know about Greenstone for zoloft but for xanax it is the same as namebrand. What company makes the namebrand? From there Google the generic see which company got the generic. I just got Apotex generic for luvox did a search showed that Glaxo Kline was original manufacturer and now Apotex is leading Canadian generic although manufactured in Us. Any Canadians With Feedback these generics are getting complicated. Phillipa

There are multiple companies beyond those as generic AA and AB for Zoloft. One can always query the Orange Book:
e.g. by its chemical name
http://www.fda.gov/cder/ob/docs/queryai.htm
or by the brand name
http://www.fda.gov/cder/ob/docs/querytn.htm
Admittedly this doesn't tell you what is "better", but as far as Greenstone, yes, its true that it has been a subsidiary of Pfizer for a while. Does that mean it comes out of the same production line -- probably not, but who knows.
A lookup of Zoloft equivalents notes more than half a dozen companies.
