Ok - I love Pristiq, but can't take the awful, painful gas, bloating and stomach noises. It is truly painful.
Switched over to 30 mg.Cymbalta and it helps the depression, but I sometimes feel like people around me are talking too loud and I might just scream! What is up with that? My husband thinks I need more Cymbalta (60mg.).
Cymbalta doesn't bother my sex drive which is good and doesn't cause the stomach upset. But I can't be having fits of rage. Am I getting too much serotonin? SSRIs make me hypomanic.
I take Seroquel at night, but no other "mood stabilizer during the day with Cymbalta.
If I stay with Cymbalta do I need a mood stabilizer? I can't just lose it and start screaming.

If you think you're becoming manic on antidepressant then talk to your pdoc about it. He might suggest a mood stabilizer instead of or to go with Cymbalta.

Sheila bipolar? If so gee seroquel is a mood stabalizer also right maybe small dose during day. Or the cymbalta at night. Yes call your pdoc. Love Phillipa

Yes, BPII. But I've noticed that SSRIs or drugs that give me too much serotonin make me manic. I don't want to go nuts because of the Cymbalta.
The good things about Cymbalta is that I don't get the severe gastro upset I do with Pristiq. And, Cymbalta dosn't hinder my sex drive/ability.
I wonder what anti-manic drug I could take with Cymbalta during the day?
I take Seroquel at night for sleep, but if I go higher than 50mg I swell up. All the anti-psychotics make me swell.
I wonder if a low dose of Depakote would take the edge off Cymbalta?
Any suggestions?

Sheila gone all day anti-manic med? Mood stabalizer? Trileptal Maybe even I took that at low dose and no side effects. I'm really not sure. Love Phillipa
