Does anyone else have a problem with drops in temperature and efficacy of Effexor? (or any other pills)
It never fails. When it gets cold outside I start to feel horrible. After a month or so of cold, it lifts.
Does anyone have an effective way to deal with this. Up the dose? Tanning Bed? etc?'

I could be, but a hunch tells me its not. There are bright sunny cold days.

But you're probably not spending a lot of time outside so the sunlight isn't getting to you. You could try putting strong full spectrum light bulbs in lamps you already have if you don't want to buy a whole light box.
You mentioned upping your dose. Have you asked your doc about that? Maybe it's something you could do temporarily for the winter.

I've decided to up my dose (75mg->150mg) for a while and see. In addition I'm hitting the Lorazepam.
If this works, I may try a preemptive dosage increase next year depending on weather reports.
