In my recent mini depression crisis, I noticed that whenever my mind was getting weaker (capacity to think clearly or to articulate thoughts quite impaired), I got a stuffy nose (dry, not with mucus or secreting), specially at bed time. I don't feel any other flu symptom.
When researching about the relationship of a stuffy nose and depression I found this link. Maybe you find it interesting:

Yes it's intesresting but I do find it hard to believe. I do doubt that you have this mystery virus but one never knows. Phillipa
