Pristiq and Nardil -suddenly Help all pls

Posted by tepi on February 22, 2010, at 23:18:58

I called my old P Doc to Mexico City. I did it just because mom was almost begging me of doing it
I told him I was feeling very suicidal , so here we go again . This was what he told me , I felt he wasnt even paying attention to me

He told me , ok take Pristiq , then I said : you mean add pristiq to my combo and he told me yes.
Then I said :Doc are u sure I can take pristiq with Nardil ? He said nothing an then after some minutes told me, stop Nardil and take pristiq
Of course he didnt told me about the washout days

I told him I was just starting Nardil again so It was gonna be a little difficult to leave it rigth now, he did not told me anything after this.
He also mentioned me to take risperdal ( I suppose he dit it because of my suicide thougths)

What do you think ?? I heard Pristiq its similar to Effexor . I did take Effexor some years ago but It was a missery.

Thats what I dont like about Docs. They just prescribe whatever it comes to his mind but they dont care what we are going to pass doing this
or maybe it is just the idea I have of them

What do you think about all this??? Also , does anybody have or have heard experiences with Pristiq ??

Any input , suggestion , comment is well received
please

Thanks
Tepi

My dear sweet Tepi. I'm sorry. How long you been back on the Nardil? I have seen on here that it is one of the meds that seems to continue to work time and time again. It does work for you so Maybe stay on the nardil. Pristiq from what I understand is the same as effexor. Love Phillipa

I did well on Pristiq and Effexor, but had worse side effects on Effexor.
