Hi,
I take valium 2 mg at night to fall asleep. During the day I have anxiety, so Im wondering if I should take it also in the morning or afternoon. I thought valium stays in your body for 72 hours, so I was surprised to know some people take 2 or 3 doses per day. But maybe I should consider this.
Any help would be appreciated.
thanks
Bob

Have you spoke with your doctor about this? Are you taking anything else for anxiety/depression?

When I first started on valium was put on 5mg three times a day and it worked very well. So yes I needed it more than once a day. Ps 40 years later never got to where I needed more. Sometimes didn't even need it for weeks. Have used both valium, ativan, xanax. All work fine. Phillipa
