Ording meds online without an RX

Posted by rnny on March 19, 2010, at 21:54:06

Has anyone ever felt the need to order their meds online without an RX? (Maybe you couldn't get the RX on time but knew if you ordered what you took online it would arrive the next day. Some kind of legitimate reason.) Dateline did a story about it and they got meds within 24 hours. There are numerous sites where you can place an order and your "office visit" is included. All you do is answer a few questions and submit with the RX request. The doctor on the other end writes you an RX and sends it to the pharmacy in his or her area and they ship you the meds. Don't you think that is dangerous? My sister ordered meds from some far away country in the Orient and they actually arrived in a few days but they weren't to treat illness. They were to misuse! Be careful. There have been shows on TV where these online pharmacies don't even have medicine in what they send. The packaging and the pill looks the same but that is about it. Inside is powedered sugar or the like. Please don't even do this. You will be wasting your money. Better to go to an emergency room if you are out of meds.

You just have to do some research and be careful before ordering. A little suspicion is always warranted and is useful in weeding out the quacks. I lost count how many meds ordered online within country and out of country, and never a single problem. In most cases it was a lot cheaper than paying a doctor visit to get the prescription. Saved a ton of money. Always got potent authentic medicine, not fakes. I know my meds and conditions real well. But for someone who is a newbie, probably not a good idea until they learn more about what they're dealing with, the meds, and how to weed out quacks. For someone who knows what they are doing, online ordering is a huge money saver. Saves time in suffering too, since you can get your meds quickly rather than waiting for an appointment next month or two months out or whatever.
