I had posted before about this device; perhaps it was in the alternative board. Anyway I decided to get one since I get to try it for 30 days for essentially $50.00. Basically it is supposed to pass micro-currents across the brain and the theory is that this stimulates the production of neuro-transmitters.
Current meds are: Nortriptyline 125mg, remeron 15mg, seroquel 75mg (on a taper), lithium 600mg, restoril 30mg, and clonazepam 1mg.
I suspect that my meds will be changing since I see my pdoc this week.
So far 3 treatments with the alpha-stim. I don't notice anything yet and honestly with the meds in the picture it would be hard to tell.
But I will report back what ever happens.
