Ramping up on amitriptyline will be at 75mg tonight. Can a small dose of remeron (7.5mg) be added safely. Doc seems to think so. The amitriptyline will eventually get up to at least 150mg I'm thinking. Thanks.

What's the point of taking amitriptyline and mirtazapine at the same time?
I don't think it's a good idea.
I have been on both of these drugs myself.

You are going to sleep well on 75 mg of amitriptyline.
There is no point to add mirtazapine.

I wish that were the case but with 75 amitriptyline, 30mg restoril and 1mg clonazepam best I could get was 4.5 hours.
Anyone have any ideas?
