HiMy pdoc is asking me repeatedly to try tDCS (Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation) for my chronic depression. So far i have tried most of the medicines and 6 Bilateral ECTs without any success whatsoever.I want to know if anybody here has tried tDCS and achieved any success?

I have tried this the last 3 days with my CESta device by MindAlive, with the tDCS kit that comes extra with it.
I am experiencing a very noticable lift in mood, and I was deep in the dumps due to withdrawal from phenylethylamine (high dose). It turned my mood around almost 180 degrees in that short of a time.
Your milage may vary, and I'm also going up on Wellbutrin, using tianeptine, and using a neurofeedback device as well as the CES function of CESta device. So who knows if it's just one or multiple things, but I have the sense that it's the tDCS that's doing it.

Not yet that I dan discern but I'm notoriously bad about identifying side efts. E.g. It could very well be exacerbating my addictions and or causing hypomania
