Hi,
can anyone definitively tell me whether it's better to take Nardil on an empty stomach or after food? Or does it even matter?I have (and have always had) wildly varying mood, OCD and overall mental health on Nardil and am naturally trying to track down what causes this unpredictability. I also have wildly-varying s/e's still too. Some days I don't experience much s/e's at all and then the next I will be utterly stoned, falling asleep at my desk at work and then completely unable to sleep at night I'm so wired.
Also, recently my hunger has abated a lot. I've been going until 4p.m. not really wanting anything to eat (!!?!), just drinking black tea by the gallon. But come 11p.m. I get the Nardil munchies and even though I'm full-ish after dinner, I can't stop thinking about cereal and cookies and get that Nardil hunger. It's really weird. Anyone else experiencing this sort of stuff?
thanks,
pedr

I am currently going back on Nardil in febuary. It doesnt matter if u take it on a full stomach or empty one.Ya I can relate to some of those side effects. The whole stay up all night thing is kinda rough. Like you try to fall asleep but your minds racing at a mile a minute. Try not to dwell into your thoughts at night and rather just become an observer of them going in and out of your mind and you will find it easier to sleep. The insomnia goes away after a couple months of being on the same dosage. Ur right the food cravings are vicious on this drug. My best bet for u is to just eat a lot of portions through out the day. Therefore ur always keep food in ur stomach and the cravings arent that strong. Hope this helps.
This is the end of the thread.
