This fall I was put on geodon for a manic episode. I developed a mouth twitch (tardive). My doctor said I will not be able to use any anti-psychotics. I can't use antidepressants because they send me into mania. My big problem is depression. Any suggestions? My doctor wants to do ect but I feel that will only be a temporary fix.

Are you doing anything for the TD? There's some indication that melatonin, b6, vitamins e+c, niacinamide, and some other nutritional supplements can help ease TD, especially if you haven't had it for too long.
Anyway, you might want to consider a mix of mood stabilizers. Some people respond well to Lithium+lamictal or depakote+lamictal. I've read that high doses of Lamictal can have anti-manic and anti-psychotic effects, but if you're prone to mania your doc will probably want to put you on some sort of anti-manic as well, probably either some sort of anti-convulsant or Lithium. Lithium isn't exactly the easiest drug in the world to take, but if you keep the dose reasonable and keep up with your labs it can make a big difference in your quality of life. In addition to anti-manic effects, it can help with depression, too.
Sorry about your TD+medication sensitivity. I hope you're able to avoid ECT.

Lamictal/Lithium combo works great and you can keep the doses slightly lower when taken together.

Why can't you use any APs? If one causes TD, it does not mean they all will! I take zyprexa it didn't give me TD, but then I took abilify and it gave me horible TD. I stoped it and took perphenazine which only gives me mild TD, which I take cogentin and it goes away. Geodon has some horrible side effects in a lot of people. If you have not tried other APs, you might want to?

My doctor said ap's are now off the table. He said the dopamine receptors are damaged or something like that. What options are there when you cant use ap's?

If APs are a no-go, then you're looking at anti-convulsants, lithium, and possibly calcium channel blockers. Benzodiazepines can also be used.
